Can I hide my address?

MyPetsWelcome makes it safe for neighbors to share online what they would feel comfortable sharing in real life by keeping discussions on MyPetsWelcome private to only those who verify that they live in the neighborhood. MyPetsWelcome takes protection of our members’ privacy seriously, and this has implications for businesses that use the site.

Never share neighbors’ comments outside MyPetsWelcome 
Never share any comments made on MyPetsWelcome without the author’s express permission. Doing so can result in disciplinary action against your account, including a temporary or permanent suspension.

Some comments about your business may not be viewable by all members 
Not all MyPetsWelcome members will necessarily be able to see all the comments that other neighbors have made about your business. When a member writes a comment, they choose their audience: their own immediate neighbors only, or a broader set of “nearby” neighbors who live in nearby neighborhoods. Members who don’t fall into either of these categories (because they live farther away) will not be able to see the comment. Accordingly, the visibility of a particular member’s comment depends on where they live and what audience they chose for their comment.

Can I hide my address?
Yes. If you’d like to hide your business address from your business page, just head to the “Business profile” tab on your account, scroll towards the bottom, and uncheck the box that says “Show above address in contact information”.
